
Saranya J.S., a scientist from Tanur, Malappuram, has been awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship by the European Commission. The two-year fellowship will support her research on Indian Ocean warming patterns and marine heatwaves, conducted in France at IRD LOCEAN-IPSL and Mercator Ocean International. Saranya completed her PhD at Seoul National University and has prior research experience at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology and Kerala Agricultural University.
