Construction of the Kamarajar Grand Library and Intellectual Centre in Tiruchi is progressing rapidly, with civil work nearing completion. The 290 crore project, spanning 1.97 lakh sq. ft. over seven floors, is set to be commissioned by February 2026, ahead of its original September 2026 deadline. It will feature diverse facilities including a science centre, digital library, AI research centre, and archives, aiming to serve students, researchers, and the public.
