CBSE 2026 Board Exams Allow Re-Assessment Only for Theory Papers, Not Practical Marks

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has clarified that for the 2026 board exams, re-assessment is allowed only for theory (written) exam papers, while practical and internal assessment marks are final and cannot be changed. Practical marks are finalized at the school level with external examiners and are not subject to re-evaluation. Students must pass theory and practical components separately, and results will be announced after evaluation completion in March and April 2026.
