CISCE and CBSE Cancel Class 10 and 12 Exams in Middle East Amid Regional Conflict

The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have cancelled all remaining Class 10 and 12 board exams in the Middle East, including the UAE, Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and others, due to escalating regional conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran. Both boards will use alternative assessment mechanisms to prepare results, with details to be announced later. Students dissatisfied with awarded marks will have the option to appear for improvement exams. The decisions follow multiple postponements amid safety concerns for students and staff.
