
Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) in China has added Punjabi to its foreign and Indian language courses, increasing its offerings to 102 languages. Prof. Zameerpal Kaur Sandhu Bajwa, former dean at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, has been appointed to teach Punjabi. She will also conduct classes on Punjabi history and culture and train Chinese teachers. BFSU primarily offers these language programs to Chinese students, diplomats, and officials.
