
Andhra Pradesh has enrolled over 50,000 students in the Advanced Quantum Skilling course offered jointly by IIT-Madras and IBM Research through the NPTEL platform. The course, supported by the Ministry of Education, aims to equip learners with skills in quantum computing, including quantum algorithms and Qiskit programming. The state government views this as a key step toward creating one lakh skilled quantum professionals and fostering technology-driven economic growth, with incentives like internships and exposure visits planned for top performers.
