IIT Kharagpur to Host Global Conclave on Sustainable Development and Innovation

IIT Kharagpur will host a global conclave titled 'Parliament of Enlightened Thoughts' on February 24 at its Research Park, inspired by the 1893 Parliament of Religions in Chicago. The event, part of the institute's Platinum Jubilee celebrations and in collaboration with The Boston Pledge, aims to advance sustainable development through dialogues on science, technology, economics, education, spirituality, governance, and arts. Key activities include signing strategic agreements, launching sustainable start-ups and certification courses, and announcing a national youth entrepreneurship programme. Eminent speakers such as ISRO chairman V Narayanan and NASA's Amitabha Ghosh will participate virtually.
