
Following Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's visit to India, the two countries signed a landmark nine-year uranium supply agreement, enhancing energy cooperation. Alongside, eight government agreements and 24 MoUs were concluded covering artificial intelligence, healthcare, agriculture, and innovation. Saskatchewan, a major uranium producer and exporter of pulses, is positioned to support India's clean energy and agricultural goals. Both sides emphasize separating political issues from trade to foster long-term collaboration in research, education, and commerce.
