JKBOSE Revises Syllabus for Four Subjects in Classes 11 and 12; Classes 9 and 10 Unchanged

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has revised the syllabus for four subjects—Punjabi and Physical Education in Class 11, and Education and Environmental Science in Class 12—for the 2026-27 academic session. The syllabus for Classes 9 and 10 remains unchanged for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 sessions across Jammu and Kashmir divisions. Exam papers for the revised subjects will reflect the updated syllabus, with exams scheduled in October-November 2026 for Kashmir and winter zones, and February-March 2027 for Jammu's summer zone. JKBOSE has also directed affiliated private schools in Jammu to strictly follow the prescribed curriculum and textbooks.
