
Delhi's Narela is being developed into a world-class education and innovation hub with a significantly increased budget of Rs 1,300 crore. Land parcels have been allotted to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (22.43 acres) and Delhi Teachers University (12.69 acres), with Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women already allocated 50 acres. The project will feature a shared campus model for optimal resource utilization, including modern facilities and staff housing. The government has expedited payments to the Delhi Development Authority for the land.
