
The Kerala government announced scholarships for Higher Secondary students who achieve high marks in Malayalam. The initiative aims to promote the mother tongue among children. According to General Education Minister V Sivankutty, the scholarships will be awarded to students scoring well in Malayalam in the Class 10 exam and who choose Malayalam as a second language at the Higher Secondary level. Detailed eligibility and application guidelines will be provided by the Director of General Education.
