IIT Hyderabad Introduces Two New MTech Programmes in Chemical Engineering

IIT Hyderabad's Department of Chemical Engineering has launched two new MTech programmes: AI ML in Chemical Engineering and Computational Chemical Engineering. The AI ML course integrates chemical engineering with artificial intelligence and machine learning to address process optimisation, materials discovery, and sustainable energy. The Computational Chemical Engineering programme focuses on multiscale modelling and simulation using mathematics and computing. Both courses emphasize research, computational training, and industry engagement to prepare graduates for technology-driven industries.
