
Suraj Tiwari, who lost both legs, his right arm, and two fingers in a 2017 train accident, has successfully cleared the UPSC Civil Services exam in his first attempt, securing the 917th rank. Despite his physical limitations, Tiwari prepared through self-study at home and is currently serving as an Indian Information Service officer. He decided to pursue the UPSC exam while undergoing treatment after the accident, drawing inspiration to continue his life and career.
