IIMC to Launch Fellowship Programme for Journalists Specialising in Key Fields

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) will launch a fellowship programme from the next session to enable journalists to specialise in fields such as technology, economy, and strategy, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced during IIMC's 57th convocation. The minister highlighted IIMC's strong placement record and new infrastructure developments, including a foundation stone laid for an academic block and the establishment of a startup incubator focused on innovative media projects. He also noted the growing role of technology and artificial intelligence in media.
