An American development economist awarded the 2019 Nobel Prize for his experimental approach to poverty alleviation, Kremer has contributed to India's development through AI-based initiatives in education, agriculture, and rural development. His work includes AI-driven weather forecasts for farmers, personalised learning programs in Andhra Pradesh, and policy advising via the Development Innovation Lab - India.
