The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on February 7 and 8, 2026, across 140 cities and 1,803 centres. Due to disruptions, Paper 2 was retaken at two centres in Vaishali on March 1. The provisional answer key objection window has closed, and results are expected by late March or early April 2026 on ctet.nic.in. Candidates must score at least 60% to qualify, with relaxations for reserved categories. CTET certificates are now valid for life, but passing does not guarantee employment.
