The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is launching mandatory, one-day offline Capacity Building Programmes (CBPs) for teachers of Classes 6-8, starting January 5, 2026. These sessions, held in various cities across Northern India including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi, aim to equip educators with skills to implement the new Skill Education curriculum using NCERT's Kaushal Bodh activity books. Attendance is compulsory for school principals, vice-principals, coordinators, and teachers, aligning with the National Education Policy's emphasis on early vocational exposure.
