Students at Government Polytechnic, Bhubaneswar, have created the largest outlined map of Odisha made by an educational institution, earning a spot in the India Book of Records. The 35x15 feet map, constructed from scrap materials like GI sheets and iron rods, also features LED lighting. This project, part of a Waste-to-Wealth initiative, highlights sustainable practices, aligns with UN SDG 7, and provided students with hands-on engineering and teamwork experience while symbolizing Odisha's culture.
