The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) will conduct a Foundational Learning Study in Delhi for Class 3 students during February-March 2026. This diagnostic survey aims to assess and strengthen basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills acquired by the end of the foundational stage. NCERT has shared sample assessment tasks in Hindi and English to prepare teachers and students. The study is a collaborative initiative with the Delhi State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and is not an examination or test, with findings intended to inform policy and improve learning outcomes.
