
The Institute Body (IB) of PGIMER, Chandigarh, chaired by Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, approved new MDS courses in conservative endodontics and public health preventive dentistry. The meeting also endorsed revised student-teacher ratios aligned with AIIMS, New Delhi, and approved an increase in MD, DM, and MCh seats to address rising patient loads and diagnostic workload. Digital reforms in procurement were also noted.
