
An Indian tech graduate from the University of Galway has warned prospective students about challenges in Ireland's job market for non-EU graduates, citing limited tech job opportunities and visa sponsorship difficulties. Out of around 130 graduates, only about 15 secured tech roles, mostly without employer-sponsored visas. The Irish government's increase in the minimum salary threshold for work visa sponsorship has further reduced hiring chances. Many graduates resort to non-tech jobs or return to India, often facing financial strain due to education loans.
