West Bengal HS Council to Introduce Contemporary, Project-Based Subjects Next Academic Year

The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will introduce contemporary, project-based subjects from the next academic session to enhance student engagement and align education with emerging career fields. Existing subjects like Artificial Intelligence Data Science, Applied Artificial Intelligence, and Cyber Security will be offered under Council Assisted Courses with regular online classes. New project-based subjects such as Entrepreneurship and Related Legal Rights, Intellectual Property Rights and Laws, Indology, and Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship will be taught directly by the Council, primarily online. Schools can apply to offer these courses, and detailed guidelines will be issued soon.
