Haryana to Launch 'CM Shri Schools' Following PM Shri Model with RTE Seat Reservation

Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda announced plans to launch 'CM Shri Schools' modeled after the centrally sponsored 'PM Shri Schools' scheme, following the CBSE curriculum and National Education Policy-2020 guidelines. These schools aim to provide quality education and holistic development. The Education Department has reserved 25% of seats in private schools for Economically Weaker Sections and Disadvantaged Groups under the Right to Education Act, with an annual family income cap of Rs 1.80 lakh for eligibility.
