Dr. Manish Kumar, an Assistant Professor at Himachal Pradesh University, has been appointed as an Expert Member of the International Energy Agency's (IEA) Photovoltaic Power Systems (PVPS) Task 13. This marks the first time an individual from India has joined Task 13, which focuses on the performance, operation, and reliability of photovoltaic systems. The IEA is an intergovernmental organization promoting global energy security and sustainable development. Dr. Kumar's expertise in floating solar photovoltaic systems is expected to contribute significantly to global PV research.
