Arunachal Pradesh CM Launches Centre to Strengthen Foundational Literacy and Numeracy

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated a Foundational Literacy and Numeracy (FLN) Centre in Doimukh to enhance early childhood and primary education. The centre, aligned with the National Education Policy 2020 and NIPUN Bharat Mission, aims to ensure all children achieve basic reading and math skills by grade 3. It employs play-based, activity-focused methods, promotes mother tongue instruction, offers continuous assessment and remedial support, and includes teacher training and community involvement, while respecting local culture.
