Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha has urged universities to prioritize innovation, employability, and entrepreneurship, aligning academic programs with regional and national development goals. During a University Council meeting, he approved reforms including a new undergraduate curriculum and integrated teacher education programs, aimed at meeting industry demands and boosting student career prospects. The implementation of an e-office system and regular council meetings were also emphasized.
