CBSE Debunks Fake Exam Cancellation, Postpones March 2 Board Exams in Middle East

A fake circular claiming cancellation of CBSE Class 10 and 12 board exams in Middle Eastern countries circulated widely, causing concern among students and parents. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) promptly debunked the notice as fake and urged reliance on official sources. However, due to ongoing regional tensions, CBSE officially postponed exams scheduled for March 2, 2026, in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, with revised dates to be announced after a review on March 3.
