Mumbai University Awards Degrees to Over 1.7 Lakh Students, Plans Meta-University Collaboration

Mumbai University celebrated its annual convocation, awarding degrees to over 1.72 lakh undergraduate, postgraduate, and 602 PhD students, marking a 50% increase in PhD output since the pandemic low. Vice Chancellor Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni announced plans to implement a meta-university system through collaboration with other Maharashtra state universities, alongside establishing specialized technology schools focused on research and innovation in emerging fields.
