Education Minister Calls for Industry-Centric Curricula and National Accreditation for Tech Institutes

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has called for aligning educational curricula with national priorities and making PhD programs industry-centric. Speaking at a meeting of NITSER, he proposed industry-led curriculum committees to develop courses for emerging job roles and 21st-century needs. Pradhan also emphasized that premier technological institutions should adhere to a national accreditation framework to enhance quality and innovation, positioning them as hubs for applied education and workforce development contributing to national progress.
