The Class of 2000 alumni from the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur (IIT-K) has pledged a record Rs 100 crore to their alma mater during their Silver Jubilee reunion. This significant contribution, the highest ever from a single batch across Indian academic institutions, is intended to establish the Millennium School of Technology and Society (MSTAS). IIT-K officials lauded the pledge as a powerful affirmation of the alumni bond and a boost to the institute's academic and research capabilities.
