While Aadhaar is accepted as an identity proof, applicants can use other government-issued documents like PAN cards, Voter IDs, or Passports to complete the application process. This aligns with Supreme Court directions that permit Aadhaar as one of several identity options, not a compulsory requirement for examinations.
