The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the Assistant Education Development Officer (AEDO) competitive examination, originally scheduled from January 10 to January 16, 2026. The postponement is due to unavoidable and unforeseen circumstances, according to official notices. This year's recruitment drive for 935 AEDO posts attracted a record 9.7 lakh applications. The BPSC stated that new examination dates will be announced soon on its official website. The exam is an objective-type written test assessing General Studies, General Knowledge, and General Aptitude.
