BITS Pilani Plans Rs 1,000 Crore AI Plus Campus in Amaravati

BITS Pilani is investing Rs 1,000 crore over five years to develop its AI Plus campus in Amaravati, designed to accommodate 7,000 students in two phases. The campus aims to be India's first dedicated AI institution, offering courses in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Robotics, Computational Linguistics, and Cyber-Physical Systems. Construction has begun with eco-friendly practices, and programs related to agriculture, climate, and healthcare are also planned. Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh reviewed the plans and urged timely completion.
