Twenty-three schools in Mohali district will receive the National Green School Award for their environmental practices. The selection followed a Green School Audit assessing waste management, resource conservation, and eco-friendly measures, conducted by the Union ministry of environment, forest and climate change in collaboration with state and national bodies. The award ceremony is scheduled for January 30 in New Delhi, recognizing sustained efforts by students and staff in promoting environmental awareness.
