Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) has appointed Prof Zameerpal Kaur Sandhu Bajwa from Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, as a foreign expert in South Asian Studies and Punjabi language for the 2026-27 academic session. She will teach Punjabi language, literature, folklore, Punjab's history and culture, Sanskrit poetics, and Urdu to Chinese students and diplomats. During her tenure, she can also learn Chinese through a special course offered to foreign experts. BFSU offers 101 foreign languages and is known for training diplomats.
