Kerala's SSLC (Class X) and Plus One examinations began on Thursday, with over 4.18 lakh students registered for SSLC and 4.11 lakh for Plus One. Exams are held at more than 3,000 centres across the state, Gulf, and Lakshadweep, though Gulf region exams have been postponed due to the West Asia conflict. Education Minister V. Sivankutty encouraged students to view exams as opportunities to demonstrate knowledge and 21st-century skills, cautioning against social media fearmongering. Plus Two exams will start on Friday, with results expected in May.
