Central Sanskrit University has launched the Ayurveda Gurukulam, offering a 7.5-year integrated Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course for students with a strong Sanskrit background. This initiative aims to connect classical Sanskrit education with modern Ayurvedic practice. The program, established under the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine, includes two years of pre-Ayurveda studies followed by BAMS coursework and an internship.
