Mansa district in Punjab has secured the top position in the state for the second consecutive year in the Green School Programme, with 31 of its rural schools recognized. These schools were evaluated by the Union Ministry of Environment based on air, energy, food, land, water, and waste management. The district's achievement, with 31 out of 218 green schools in Punjab, will be honored in New Delhi on January 30. Over 350 government schools in Mansa applied for the program.
