IIT Kharagpur Launches Free AI Tutor and Online GATE-JAM Preparation Platform
IIT Kharagpur launched two free digital initiatives: the NDLI-FERMI AI Tutor and an online preparatory platform for GATE and JAM exams. Unveiled by Education Minister Sukanta Majumdar during the institute's Platinum Jubilee, the AI tutor offers personalised, guided learning through features like 'Scan Ask' to assist students in science subjects. Both initiatives aim to expand access to quality education and reduce reliance on costly coaching, especially benefiting rural and economically disadvantaged students across India.
