Netflix's hit sci-fi thriller Stranger Things has concluded its main story with the release of its fifth and final season on December 31st. Creators, the Duffer brothers, have stated the ending provides complete closure for the characters and the Upside Down narrative. The franchise will continue through a prequel stage production, "Stranger Things: The First Shadow," which opened in London and will debut on Broadway in April 2025, and an animated series, "Stranger Things: Tales from '85," set for November 2025.
