Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 Hindi Theatrical Release Confirmed for October 15, 2026
Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film Jailer 2 is confirmed to release in Hindi and other languages on October 15, 2026, with Pen Marudhar Entertainment distributing the Hindi version in North India. The makers issued official statements to dispel rumors of the Hindi theatrical release being skipped due to disputes over a four-week OTT release window. Despite major multiplex chains like PVR INOX and Cinepolis reportedly opting out of screening the Hindi version over the OTT window disagreement, the film will still be available in single-screen and regional theaters. Advance bookings indicate strong box office demand, especially in southern states, with ticket prices varying widely across regions. The Madras High Court has also issued injunctions against unauthorized digital exhibition ahead of the release.
