Rajinikanth's Jailer 2 Nears Rs 30 Crore Advance Bookings Ahead of October 15 Release
Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film Jailer 2 is set for an October 15 release, with advance bookings nearing Rs 30 crore worldwide, driven largely by strong overseas sales. Domestic pre-sales are led by Tamil Nadu, with early screenings starting as early as 6 am in some southern cities and premium ticket prices reported. The film will not have a theatrical Hindi release, as producers plan a four-week OTT window post-release, causing a dispute with multiplex chains favoring an eight-week gap for Hindi films.
