Fire at Mumbai Film City Near Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 Set Prompts Safety Inquiry
A fire broke out on October 5 at Mumbai's Film City near the sets of reality shows Pati Patni Aur Panga 2 and Hustle 5, causing smoke to disrupt nearby shoots including Kaun Banega Crorepati. No casualties were reported, and the blaze was controlled quickly. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) demanded a thorough inquiry, legal action against the channel and producers, and the resignation of the Film City Managing Director, citing lack of fire safety measures and alleging negligence. Production teams confirmed the fire occurred outside active shooting areas, and investigations are ongoing.
