
BAFTA-winning Glaswegian filmmaker Lynne Ramsay will receive the Cinema City Honorary Award at the 22nd Glasgow Film Festival on March 6. The accolade honors her distinctive visual style and storytelling over three decades, including films like Ratcatcher and We Need to Talk About Kevin. The award, named after Glasgow's nickname, recognizes outstanding contributions to cinema. A special event titled 'From Page to Pulse' will explore her approach to adaptation, hosted by filmmaker Adura Onashile.
