Emma Roberts to Reprise Role in New 'Aquamarine' TV Series Pilot
Emma Roberts is set to reprise her role as Claire Brown in a new television adaptation of the 2006 film 'Aquamarine,' with Disney and Disney Channel ordering a pilot. Roberts will also executive produce the series, which follows a teenager named Coral uncovering her mermaid mother's disappearance and magical powers. Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum returns as director and executive producer. The original film, based on Alice Hoffman's 2001 novel, gained cult status despite moderate box office success.
