The 24th Pune International Film Festival (PIFF), scheduled from January 15-22, will honor veteran actors Biswajit Chatterjee, Farida Jalal, and Asha Kale with the PIFF Distinguished Award for their contributions to Indian cinema. Violinist and composer Amar Haldipur will receive the S D Burman International Award for his musical achievements. The festival will also feature a competition segment for Marathi films, showcasing seven shortlisted entries.
