Producer Naga Vamsi has confirmed that the sequel to Vijay Deverakonda's film Kingdom, titled Kingdom 2, has been shelved. The decision comes after the first film's lukewarm box-office performance, earning approximately 82 crore worldwide against a reported budget of 130 crore. Vamsi stated there's no point discussing the past to avoid hurting director Gowtam Tinnanuri, but confirmed their collaboration will continue on new projects, including a previously completed film titled Magic.
