Speculation that Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) might launch at a high price of $100 (approximately Rs 9,000) in India has been addressed by a former Rockstar Games developer. Obbe Vermeij suggested that Rockstar will likely price GTA 6 at a standard AAA rate to attract a large player base. This strategy, similar to GTA V, relies on long-term revenue from an accompanying GTA Online component and in-game monetisation rather than a premium upfront cost.
