Screenwriter Rumy Jafry stated that Amitabh Bachchan did not seek financial assistance from anyone during the Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) crisis. Jafry recalled Bachchan giving his life earnings to the CEO and clearing debts of over Rs 90 crore through his own hard work. Jafry attributed ABCL's downfall partly to Bachchan not having the right team in place at the time.
