Director H Vinoth believes Bollywood has underutilized Bobby Deol's potential as an action star, stating Deol is "pure action-hero material." Vinoth, who cast Deol as the antagonist in his upcoming film 'Jana Nayagan,' praised Deol's screen presence and work ethic. He expressed a desire to direct an action film with Deol in Hindi cinema if given the opportunity. 'Jana Nayagan' is slated for a Pongal 2026 release and is reportedly Thalapathy Vijay's final film before a political career.
